A couple weeks back a gentleman in my church who runs the building maintenance there asked me if I had any ideas on how to improve the ladies washroom on a small budget.
My first question was,” how small”? His reply, “see what ideas you have.” The next thing I did was scope out the bathroom to see what the situation was. I saw the pink countertop and knew that needed some help but on the whole the space just needed minor “tweaks.”
So over a span of five days, three fantastic men worked away. The walls were painted a straw colour, the stalls were painted a grey, the mirror was framed, decorative lights hung, new simpler taps hooked up but the largest transformation was the countertop. Rust oleum has a countertop kit and the one used is called charcoal. You can see a piece of the countertop enlarged in the photo. It has the speckles of grey to tie in the other greys in the space, like that found in the floor tiles.
In a short period of time and with little expense this worn out looking space is prettier than a picture. Seriously, these photos do not do the space justice. Thanks again guys for making my brain wave a reality.
