Fabric Wrapped Frames

I have friends who fire me off photos when they see something they think I may like. The photo above is one of them. While my friend was waiting for her chiro appointment she spotted these trees. They are trees printed onto a gorgeous silk. For the diy folks you could easily pick up a fabric that you love, say from Len’s Mill and then get some canvases from either Dollerama or XS Cargo. Lay the canvas on the fabric and trim to size. Then use a staple gun or even fabric tac if the material is thin enough to attach. The only tip is make sure the corners are not too bulky and pull the fabric evenly. You want these works of art to hang nicely on the wall so go slow and do it right.

Who you calling a pouf?!

For the past couple years a trend has been surfacing in the form of extra seating. It is called the pouf. The pouf comes in round, square and really almost any unique shape. It can be treated like an ottoman, coffee table or an extra seat. Really, who wouldn’t want such a versatile piece in their room? You will always be comfortable!
