Behr Option

As most of you know, I am a Benjamin Moore fan but I also like showing other colour options for those who are not. The above colour collection is similar to the other two posts about basement colours. Similar but not identical. Each one has their flaws or benefits. I like these colours because of their deepness of colour. They are muted but rich in tone. Bravo Behr!

  1. Hi Tara. I used to buy Benjamin Moore exclusively until I tried Dulux Diamond paint. Now I find the colour I like wherever (Benjamin Moore, etc) and have Dulux colour match it. I haven’t been disappointed yet and I prefer working with this paint – it’s less “gummy” as I describe it and the finish is beautiful and durable. I also like the Dulux Club savings of 25%/ regular purchase when I can’t wait for their big sales :).

    • Thank you Marie! At the big box stores such as Rona or Home Depot you can have almost any Benjamin Moore colour mixed into any make of paint they carry. I personally like to work with a thicker paint and sometimes pick up the brand CIL Signature. My dad loves the Behr paint with the built in primer. It seems there are a good deal of paint types to choose from for all us folks who have different expectations from our paint from durability to texture. Thanks again for the comment!
